Why Offer A Daily Playlist For Your Virtual Summit?

Recently we've started making things both easy on us and easy on our attendees- especially when offering mostly pre-recorded virtual summit sessions. So instead of releasing videos on an hourly schedule, we've decided to just release all the videos for the day at one time, starting with the Welcome call at 8 am.

One of the biggest reasons we set these videos up as a playlist that is released at the beginning of each day rather than drip them out hour by hour is accessibility. We want people to be able to watch them when they have time and when it works for their schedule given they are only available for 24 hours.

We also don't want to require the extra burden of having them log in, like we do people with an all-access pass, because the content is technically free to anyone who registers. We do have all-access pass holders login because they have extended access and will need to be familiar with how to log in after the live event, but also to receive access to their exclusive bonuses which need to be behind a secure login. 

Opting for a daily playlist release strategy offers several advantages:

Kajabi landing pages are the perfect tool to create a centralized hub for your daily content. These pages can be customized to provide all the necessary information and links, including:

• Video Playlist: Embed the daily playlist directly onto the page.
• Live Session Links: Include links to any live sessions scheduled for that day.
• Countdown Timer: Create a sense of urgency and encourage timely viewing.
• Facebook Group Link: Foster community engagement and provide additional support.

Setting Up Your Live Event Page

1. Create The Landing Page: Upload our Daily Live Video Page Template into your account, or choose to add a new landing page, which you will then customize.

2. Customize the Page: Customize the template to meet your event's brand. You'll want to edit the colors, and fonts, and make sure that you've included CTAs for your Facebook Group, Live Sessions, Sponsor logos, and opting into Speaker Freebies.

3. Embed Your Sessions: Body: Embed the daily video playlist using Kajabi's built-in video player or use an embed code from Vimeo or YouTube. We prefer Vimeo- since you also get captions on the videos which is also great to add in for accessibility. 

4. Configure the Countdown Timer: Add a countdown timer to your page, and click the settings box to enable a countdown action. Select the option to redirect to another landing page after the timer runs out and select your Expired Video Page (which you'll need to create first using our Template or start from scratch.)

Additional Tips:

• Mobile Optimization: Ensure your landing pages are optimized for mobile devices to cater to a wider audience. You might need to create mobile-only headers to ensure everything looks good on different devices, but this is easy as long as you preview the content while you build. 
• Clear Navigation: Use a well-structured navigation menu to help attendees find the information they need. We like to include an event only menu that has links to the welcome page, schedule, speaker page, and of course an upgrade page. 
• Consistent Branding: Maintain a consistent visual style throughout your summit to strengthen your brand.
• Test Thoroughly: Test all links, videos, and redirects to ensure a smooth user experience. You can never test too many times, but if something slips through, just know #techissueshappen
